WPC: Variations On A Theme

Grand Central’s iconic Tiffany glass clock
The instructor wanted us to zoom in on Grand Central’s iconic Tiffany Glass clock.

I’ve been attending the free Apple Photo Walks at different Apple Stores.

We can all take a photo of the same thing and end up with different photos as unique as each of us.

My Variation on a Theme: I wanted to capture what everyone else was seeing. There were six of us in the group.

I’ve taken two photo walks. Casey (portraits and people) and Phil (architecture & design) were excellent!

If you have an iPhone, live near an Apple Store and want to learn more about photography, I recommend Apple’s fun and informative photo walks, led by professional photographers.

    • They are a lot of fun. Everyone is friendly and the instructors have both been very good (especially last night, we walked in the freezing NYC cold).

  1. I would love to take a photo class, that sounds so fun and useful. I paid a small fee to do a cell phone photo course but haven’t had the time to do it yet! My samsung galaxy’s camera is awesome! Great shots, Aixa!

    • Thank you, Terri. Camera phones are amazing and simple. I don’t think I’d have the patience to learn how to use a DSLR.

  2. Never knew Apple conducts these photo walks. I hope it comes to my country soon. I love photo walks as it’s a very nice opportunity to meet like-minded people unlike other functions/social gatherings, which I avoid like plague! 🙂 Nice interpretation of the theme. I am still trying to figure out what to submit.

    • Thank you. It’s so nice to meet people and learn a few things at the same time. I’ll keep an eye out for your interpretation…
